How do I schedule a tour?
We're happy to schedule tours for any vacant units! Contact us with your First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and the address you’re interested in, and we’ll ask a few “pre-qualifying” questions. (We require an approved application for all occupied properties since we’d be taking you into somebody’s home!) -
How does the pet policy work with ESAs?
Assistance Animal” is an umbrella term for both Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Assistance Animals that are verified through PetScreening are exempt from pet restrictions, pet fees, and pet rent! We use a third-party program called PetScreening to verify information on both Household Pets and Assistance Animals. What if I don’t meet the Rental Criteria, or need an exception to the pet policy?
Exceptions may be determined on a case-by-case basis, but are NOT a guarantee. Please contact our office for more information. -
What’s the “Online Portal”?
The Online Portal is your best resource as a tenant! Through the portal you can pay rent, set up automatic payments, submit maintenance requests, update renter’s insurance, and more! -
Do I have to have Renter’s Insurance?
Yes. Crown Property Management requires a policy with $100,000 in Personal Liability. -
Do you accept housing vouchers?
We accept housing vouchers on all residential properties! Vouchers will count toward the “income” portion of our Rental Criteria (all other criteria must still be met). -
How long is the initial lease?
All initial leases will be for 12 months, unless otherwise noted. -
What do I need to pay to move in?
Plan to pay one full month’s rent, security deposit, and any additional fees listed on our marketing (such as carpet cleaning or pet fees). Our Resident Coordinator will walk you through all necessary items prior to your move-in. We don’t require last month’s rent! -
Does everybody need to apply?
All occupants 18 or older must submit an application, even if they will not be financially responsible. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, the deposit is refundable minus any damages. -
Can I have a cosigner?
We are not accepting cosigners or guarantors at this time. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
The easiest way to apply is through our website. Once you find the property you want, click the “Apply Now” button. There is a $40 non-refundable application fee, per person.
If you prefer to apply in person, you can pick up a paper application from our office on Colorado St. in Kennewick. There is a $45 non-refundable application fee, per person.
Crown Property Management does not accept reusable tenant screening reports. -
How do I pay rent?
Rent and other payments can be made through an online portal. Checks can be mailed to our Corporate office at 552 N. Colorado St Ste 101 Kennewick, WA 99336 -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Reach out to our Resident Coordinator prior to getting your new furry friend, to receive approval for a pet and fill out the necessary forms. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
Our resident coordinator will assist in lease changes. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Submit a Notice to Vacate - a notice in writing with the proper 20 or 60-day notice. -
